14.07.2005 [18:27] Hemsky felt Niirala Hall too hot
NHL-player and last springs World Champion on ice-hockey Ales Hemsky was swetting after the tight quarterfinal match against Germany. ”It´s too hot here in the hall, otherweis the game is not too much different from ice-hockey. Of course we play with only four players and here the defence is more controlled, but I haven´t felt any problems coming from ice-hockey to inline hockey”, said Hemsky while he gave autographs to the juniors in the Niirala Hall right after the game.
"Also in inline hockey there is more one to one situations”, Hemsky said and seemed to enjoy those situations. In the game Hemsky made two goals and gave three assists.
About NHL-contract with NHLPA Hemsky didn´t know too much. ”I heard that the contract has been made yesterday, but I haven´t heard anything more. I have been here playing and I haven´t talked to my agent after the contract was made.”
In the semifinals Czech Republic will meet Finland. ”Finland maybe has the best team here. Especially their defence is very good. It will be a tough match”, said Hemsky.
